Harvest
“The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved!”
- Jeremiah 8:20, NKJV

The harvest that is salvation through Jesus Christ is among us, yet missed by many due to a lack of workers - But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest” (Matthew 9:36-38, NKJV). God’s harvest is all about spreading the bountiful blessings of His grace and He accomplishes this through His people. It is one thing to talk about the saving grace of God, but it is another to put it on display to the world. Understand that you are the manifestation of the harvest…a living, breathing, walking example to the masses of the power of God’s restoration. However, how will they (the masses) ever know unless you go and tell them…show them - How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things” (Romans 10:14-15, NKJV). So are you being stingy with God’s harvest? How so? By not sharing His gift (your salvation) with those He has assigned to you - “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved” (Jeremiah 8:20, NKJV). Know that God has planted a seed in you that is itching to sprout. Stop stifling its growth and allow His Spirit to water it so that the fruits of your testimony may provide God’s refreshment to His people.
BE BLESSED!
