Door
Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
- John 10:7-10, NKJV

So many doors to choose from, so many options, but only one right choice - Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly (John 10:7-10, NKJV). Life provides you many doors to an infinite amount of possibilities and opportunities; however, not every opportunity is a good or right opportunity…and just as one door is open, others close because of what is done or failed to be done. In this season you must choose wisely and intensely scrutinize what you are consuming, as well as, the pastures in which you consume these fruits from. Know that both people and animals flock towards where there is subsistence…given the right circumstances and enough hunger, both humans and animals will consume things out of desperation that neither would consume in their “right” mind. Over time, if unchecked, both will resort to these sources out of habit vice necessity…leading to doors neither was ever intended to enter. This season is littered with shiny opportunities that look good, smell good, feel good, and taste good…and while they may be good to you, they aren’t good for you - So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings (Genesis 3:6-7, NKJV). Understand that God wants nothing but the best for you, and that no matter how hard or difficult the path ahead of you seems, His door is the only door that leads to salvation/eternal life. Today take advantage of the opportunity God has placed in front of you…open your eyes and see what He is presenting…then open the door to your heart so you may enter through His gates with thanksgiving.
BE BLESSED!
