All Praises

Elder Sean D. Smith

Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who with his hands has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to my father David.

- 2 Chronicles 6:4, NIV

And we know that all praises belong to God [Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who with his hands has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to my father David (2 Chronicles 6:4, NIV)]; however, saying a thing and believing in it are two different things. While God does not lie [“God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it” (Numbers 23:19-20, NKJV) ] it is still nice to see/experience the manifestation of His blessings. However, true faith is believing that the very thing hoped for is already realized in your prayer [Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them (Mark 11:24, NKJV)].…knowing that God is Who He says He is, and will do what He says He will do. All praises are God’s and God’s alone…we exalt Him because of Who He is, a faithful and loving Father to all. Today look beyond what is seen by your failing natural eyes and embrace the hope nested in His promise by praising His name from beginning to end.

BE BLESSED!
